The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse, review: gorgeous animation saddled with cloying therapy-speak

This is one of those books that is best experienced through the audio version. I know, there’s nothing quite like reading a book and letting your imagination take flight, as exemplified by beloved series like Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter. The book is almost always better than the screen adaptation.
In this case, however, you’ll have a truly immersive 4D experience with the audio book. How can I describe and convince you to give it a try? Without spoiling the book, I feel like it’s an analogy of a soup made with five simple ingredients. It may be simple, but it’s incredibly substantial, leaving you with a satisfying and complete sensation. The taste? It’s there. The aroma? Present as well. It makes you feel good whether you’re starting, continuing, or reaching the end. It’s all there.
The Boy, the Fox, the Horse, and the Mole is an absolute must-read book. Well, in this case, I should say a must-listen book.
The audio book is a phenomenal work of art. Within the first 15 minutes of listening to it, I went from tearing up to bursting with laughter. The author’s brilliance shines through in both his writing and his own narration of the book.
I believe that’s enough to convince you. Just grab it here.
